Vinuri Dissanayake

Paper Co-Presenter

Vinuri Dissanayake (she/her) worked as the Research Assistant in the field of government technology (GovTech) at the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation at Georgetown University. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy at Georgetown University. At Georgetown University, she is also supporting research initiatives in the areas of public management; social policy; and optimizing state capacity.

 

Vinuri is passionate about advancing the use of equitable and safe emerging technology in how governments deliver high-risk services. Prior to commencing her graduate studies, Vinuri worked in various roles, including as a lawyer, management consultant at McKinsey & Company advising the public sector, and on various social innovation projects for organizations such as the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization; Grameen Foundation; and The Smith Family. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Law and Commerce from The University of New South Wales, Australia.
