Munsif Sokiyna is an emerging scholar and PhD Candidate in Management Information Systems (MIS) at The University of Alabama. His expertise lies at the intersection of Information Systems, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and the dynamics of Open Source Software (OSS). His research is dedicated to understanding and mitigating Online Toxicity within digital platforms, particularly in OSS communities. This work involves examining how social constructs and technical infrastructure drive collaborative progress in these environments. With a BS in MIS and an MS in Electronic Business, Sokiyna is uniquely positioned to craft strategies that enhance management and development in OSS ecosystems. His goal is to bridge academic insights with practical applications, contributing to more effective and positive online collaborations
