Anastasia Nedayvoda is the Accelerator Program Lead at Giga, a joint initiative of ITU and UNICEF that aims to close the global school internet connectivity gap. She is also an Associate Researcher at École Polytechnique, where her research focuses on business models and organizational structures in the open-source AI ecosystem. Before joining Giga, Anastasia worked at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), where she gained experience in early and growth-stage investments in AI and digital infrastructure. Prior to her tenure at IFC, she played a pivotal role in accelerating digital adoption in emerging markets while working in the Office of the World Bank Group President. Anastasia is particularly passionate about exploring how open-source AI can be leveraged to address the unique challenges and opportunities in emerging markets.
